2.3.5 Technical instructions for the electrical power supply

The generating set must be supplied with electricity in order to charge the battery and to heat the carburettor. Figure 2.13 gives the
required output for the battery charger and accessories.
The control unit must be installed in accordance with local regulations.

2.3.6 Technical instructions for the fuel supply

The generating set can run on natural gas or LP (Liquid Propane). The fuel supply circuit must be installed in accordance with local
regulations.

2.3.6.1. Fuel supply

Due to climatic variations and geographical considerations, you are recommended to contact your local fuel supplier, for power
supply network planning and installation. Figure 2.14 indicates the recommended calorific values for natural gas and LP (Liquid
propane).
Check that the pressure at the network's main pressure regulator outlet (or the LP tank) is between 1.7 and 2.7 kPa (17 to 27 mbar)
and that the level indicated on the gas meter is sufficient to supply the generating set and all other gas-operated equipment. Figure
2.15 indicates the required power supply for the generating set, and figure 2.16 gives the consumption values. Please contact your
fuel supplier for further information concerning supply levels or for any upgrades to the gas meter.
Figures 2.6 and 2.8 indicate the position of the fuel inlet union. Use flexible pipes to avoid any risk of a break in the supply circuit as
a result of vibrations. Remove the outer casing panel and use a spanner to hold the supply solenoid valve while tightening the gas
unions. Protect all the supply lines from touching any part of the machinery or equipment and protect them from damage due to bad
weather or the environment.
