i) Receiver and Speed Controller
These components are not included in the scope of delivery. The receiver should be included with your
transmitter; the speed controller must be ordered separately.
• On the left chassis side, there is enough space for installation of

receiver and speed controller.

Both components are attached in the chassis with double-sided
adhesive tape.
• The aerial cable of the receiver (for 27-/40MHz remote controls)
is pushed through the folder from below (see arrow in the figure
to the right) and then through the aerial tube.
Plug the aerial tube into the holder. Secure the aerial cable to the
upper end of the aerial tube with a rubber cap.
When installing the aerial cables, ensure that it does not get into the cardan shaft or other rotary parts.
Never shorten the aerial cable!
• Connect the steering servo and the speed controller to the receiver. Observe the operating instructions for the
remote control system regarding the receiver connections to which steering servo and speed controller must be
attached, as well as the correct orientation of the plug.

Install all cables so that they cannot get into a drive. Fix the cables with cable fasteners.
j) Car Body
• Remove the protective film from the top of the car body.
• The car body is secured in the three car body holders with so-
called car body splints.
However, you need to put one rubber ring „GR1" each onto the
three car body holders before the car body is attached.
Before attaching the car body, perform a functional test for your
vehicle and programme your speed controller if necessary.
• If desired, an included cover can be attached to the front of the
vehicle; see figure to the right. In this case, also remove the
protective foil before installation.
