• Clamp the two upper transverse links between the damper bridge
and axle spurs.
• Install the two front shock absorbers „SV".
As can be seen in the figure to the right, the front shock absorbers
are always shorter.
• The shock absorbers „SV" are attached to the damper bridge
with one M3x12mm screw „S8" each (to the innermost hole).
Observe the correct position of the plastics bush at the upper
end of the shock absorber, see enlarged section in the figure to
the right (bush is between the damper bridge and shock
absorber!).
• At the lower transverse link, the shock absorber „SV" is attached
with a 12mm tapping screw „S7" (at the outermost hole).
Install both shock absorbers to the same installation point,
because the driving behaviour may grow uncontrollable other-
wise.
• At the end, the two front car body holders „VK" must be installed
with two tapping screws „S1" from the inside of the battery
compartment.
Observe that the car body holders are installed so that the holes
for car body splints are on the side (so that the car body splints
can be inserted from the left and the right).
• Assembly of the front axle is now completed (the wheels will be
attached later).
Setting camber and alignment is also described after completion
of assembly (chapter 8).
