Instructions for use

9.1.

Incident during operation

In the event of unusual incidents of any kind, the kiln should be shut down if in doubt.

After shutting down, keep the kiln closed and allow the kiln to cool down normally.
Unusual incidents could be:
•
strong smoke development.
• unusual odour development.
•
unusual noises.
•
the kiln dwelling too long at high temperatures due to worn heating elements or incorrect operation.
The kiln can be shut down in the following ways:

Before restarting, the cause of the incident must be determined and investigated.
9.2.

Emergency during operation

In the event of emergencies such as a fire in the kiln installation room, the kiln should be shut down immediately.
Step Action
1 Keep the kiln closed after it has been shut down.
2 Keep doors and windows closed.
3 Notify the fire brigade or trigger the fire alarm system.
4 Warn other people in the building.
5 If possible, use a fire extinguisher for initial firefighting.
6 Exit the building and wait for the fire brigade.
