Process
Description
Open the kiln door by turning the star knob screws (2x) in
the direction of the arrow to the left (counterclockwise).
Turn the handle of the door catch to the left, away from

the doorstop.
The door of the kiln can then be opened completely.
While open, the firing chamber is compulsorily isolated
from the electricity.
Turn the handle of the door catch to the right in the
direction of the doorstop.
Close the kiln door by turning the star knob screws (2x) in
the direction of the arrow to the right (clockwise).

The kiln door must be flush with the integrated insulating
cord at the kiln casing.
Always ensure that the kiln door is properly locked.

Only the machine operator is allowed to be near the kiln while the door is being opened
and closed.
Always open the kiln door fully.
The operating personnel must wear suitable protective clothing.
The locking brake is used to hold the ELS kiln floor in any position.
Never suddenly release the locking brake while moving the ELS kiln floor.
If the locking brake is suddenly released, the ware can tip over or fall onto the ELS kiln
floor.
Incorrectly stacked and falling ware can cause injuries or damage to the kiln or
personnel.
