Warning
Never allow the pump to run dry for a prolonged period. (Risk of overheating)
1.
Drain the pump into the collecting shaft.
2.
Check that the pump docks correctly on the coupling foot (no breaks or air gaps be-
tween the pump and coupling foot). (Type 11)
3.
Check that the float switch can move freely and adjust it if necessary.
4.
Open the stop valve in the pressurised line. Fill the collecting shaft with water/drainage
water.
5.
Check correct function in cooperation with the level control.
a. Does automatic mode work?
b. Does the volume between the "Pump on" and "Pump off" float switches correspond
to the usable volume as a minimum?
c. Are the limit values listed in the "Technical Data" section complied with?
d. Does the "Level high" alarm function correctly?
8.1
Checking the power consumption, mains voltage and phase imbalance
Check the power consumption and the mains voltage of each individual phase. The rated
current must not be exceeded in any circumstances (see nameplate). The maximum current
imbalance between the individual phases must not be greater than ±5% of the mean value. (To
form the mean value, add all 3 currents together and divide by 3. Mean value ±5% results in
the maximum values.) If the maximum values are exceeded, the terminal assignment must be
changed by shifting the phases evenly.
