The installation of a non-return valve and stop valve is highly recommended.

4. Attach the pressurised line to the coupling foot and anchor it adequately to the shaft wall.
Insert the fittings into the pressurised line according to known assembly principles.
Install the non-return valve so that the pump can move freely inwards and
outwards without requiring disassembly of the sliding pipes or the pump. If
necessary, attach the end spacer below the fittings on the pressurised line.
