The Power-PRO™ XT cot is designed to be power washable. The unit may show some signs of oxidation or discoloration
from continuous washing, however, no degradation of the cot's performance characteristics or functionality will occur
due to power washing as long as the proper procedures are followed.
Thoroughly clean the cot once a month. Clean Velcro® AFTER EACH USE. Saturate Velcro® with disinfectant and
allow disinfectant to evaporate. (Appropriate disinfectant for nylon Velcro® should be determined by the service.)

WAShING PROCEDURE

Always remove the battery! Never wash the cot with the battery installed.
Follow the cleaning solution manufacturer's dilution recommendations exactly.
The preferred method Stryker Medical recommends for power washing the cot is with the standard hospital
surgical cart washer or hand held wand unit.

WAShING lIMITATIONS

WARNING
Use any appropriate personal safety equipment (goggles, respirator, etc.) to avoid the risk of inhaling contagion. Use of
power washing equipment can aerate contamination collected during the use of the cot.
CAUTION
DO NOT STEAM CLEAN OR ULTRASONICALLY CLEAN THE UNIT.
Maximum water temperature should not exceed 180°F/82°C.
Maximum air dry temperature (cart washers) should not exceed 240°F/115°C.
Maximum water pressure should not exceed 1500 psi/130.5 bar. If a hand held wand is being used to wash the
unit, the pressure nozzle must be kept a minimum of 24 inches (61 cm) from the unit.
Towel dry all casters and interface points.
Failure to comply with these instructions may invalidate any/all warranties.
Always remove the battery before washing the cot.
