TEST PROCEDURE
On February 25
conducted in accordance with ASTM E2779-10 and ASTM E2515-11. The fuel used for the test
run was Energex brand, softwood pellet.
The applicable EPA regulatory limits for pellet stoves are:
Step 1 – 2015 – 4.5 grams per hour.
Step 2 – 2020 – 2.0 grams per hour.
TEST SET-UP DESCRIPTON
A 3" flue is connected to a standard 3" diameter Tee then to a vertical pellet pipe installed 15'
above floor level.
