If necessary, remove the spark
plug, and make sure it is not
damp.
•
If it is damp, clean and dry it.
Before repositioning it:
NOTE
PLACE A CLEAN CLOTH ON THE
CYLINDER NEXT TO THE SPARK
PLUG SEAT TO PROTECT IT FROM
POSSIBLE FUEL SPLASHES.
Press the start up button «7» and allow
the starter motor to work for about five
seconds without accelerating.
START UP AFTER PROLONGED IN-
ACTIVITY
•
If the vehicle has been inactive
for a long time, starting may be
delayed as the fuel supply circuit
may be partially empty.
In this case:
•
Press the starter button «7» for
circa 10 seconds.

Attendre quelques secondes et
refaire la procédure de DÉMAR-
RAGE À FROID.
•
Éventuellement, déposer la
bougie et contrôler qu'elle ne
soit pas humide.
•
Si la bougie est humide, la net-
toyer et la sécher.
Avant de la remonter :
N.B.
PLACER UN CHIFFON PROPRE SUR
LE CYLINDRE, À PROXIMITÉ DU CU-
LOT DE LA BOUGIE, COMME PRO-
TECTION CONTRE LES ÉVENTUEL-
LES ÉCLABOUSSURES D'ESSENCE.
Appuyer sur le bouton de démarrage «
7 » et faire tourner le démarreur pendant
environ cinq secondes, sans accélérer.
DÉMARRAGE APRÈS UNE LONGUE
INACTIVITÉ
•
Si le véhicule est resté long-
temps inactif, il est possible qu'il
ait des difficultés à démarrer
dans la mesure où le circuit d'ali-
mentation en carburant pourrait
être partiellement vide.
Dans ce cas :
•
Appuyer sur le bouton de dé-
marrage « 7 » pendant environ
dix secondes.
