Shock absorber adjustement

Have the oil and the front suspension oil
catcher checked following the Scheduled
Maintenance Table, according to your
vehicle's engine displacement (CCs).

REAR SUSPENSION
The rear suspension consists of two dou-
ble-acting shock absorbers (compres-

sion/extension braking), with silent-block
engine mount.
The shock absorber has a ring nut, to al-
low regulation of the spring preloading.
The standard setting, installed in the fac-
tory, is for a rider who weighs roughly 55
lb (70 Kg). For other weights, use a hook
wrench (supplied) on the ring nut «1» to
define the ideal running settings.

SUSPENSION ARRIÈRE
La suspension arrière est composée de
deux amortisseurs à double effet (freina-
ge en compression / extension), fixés au
moteur par silent-bloc.
L'amortisseur est pourvu d'un écrou, pour
le réglage de la précharge du ressort. La
configuration standard, préréglée en usi-
ne, est prévue pour un pilote d'un poids
de 55 lb (70 kg) environ. En fonction du
poids ou d'exigences diverses, agir sur la
bague « 1 » avec la clé à secteur (four-
nie), en définissant de telle manière les
conditions idéales de marche.
