Information on safety

This section gives a survey of all the important safety
aspects to optimally protect staff and ensure safe
and failure-free operation. Failure to observe the
handling instructions and safety information given in
these instructions may result in significant hazards.
Condition of the system
Furthermore, the user is responsible for the system
being in technically impeccable condition at all times,
therefore the following applies:
The user must ensure that the maintenance intervals
specified in these instructions are kept to.
The user must have the functionality and
completeness of all the safety installations regularly
checked.
Requirements regarding the water introduced
into the system
Water from shower trays and bath tubs only may be
introduced into the water recycling system.
Requirements for use
The process water network must be free from
microleakages. Damage caused by microleakages
voids the manufacturer's warranty.
The system must be installed and operated
according to the state of the art. Compliance with the
rules and standards of DIN 1988 T1 to T8, DIN 1986,
DIN EN 1717, DIN 2403 and German Drinking Water
Ordinance 2001 is required.
In no event may the limit values specified in the
technical data be exceeded (see Operating Manual
for technical data).
Note!
The treated process water is not
of drinking water quality.
Inadmissible modes of operation
The process water produced by the water recycling
system must not enter the network for drinking water.
It must not be used as drinking water.

The following types of wastewater
must not be introduced:
highly contaminated kitchen wastewater,
wastewater from washing machines and
dishwashers,
wastewater containing faecal matter,
wastewater to which colouring matter has
been added (paint residues, textile dye,
hair tinting lotion),
wastewater from medicinal mud baths,
very foamy wastewater.
Scope
Users outside the Federal Republic of
Germany should regard the safety
regulations specified here as the basis,
compare them with the locally applicable
regulations and attend to any on-site
variations required.
Dangers in case of nonobservance of
the instructions
Nonobservance of the safety information
can have dangerous consequences:
Danger to persons
Danger to the environment
Damage to the water recycling system
Nonobservance of the safety instructions
results in forfeiture of all rights to claim
damages.
Inspection and installation work
As the user, ensure that all inspection and
installation work is carried out by a service
expert or service technician.
The installation work must be carried out
in conformity with DIN 1988 T1 to T8 and
DIN EN 1717.

Damage to health due to
contact with dirty water.
Wear suitable
protective gloves for all
work in which you come
into contact with the
wastewater.
