UV disinfection
UV reactor
Given average duty, the service life of the UV
reactor lamp is expected to be approx. 8000 h.
When the service time of the UV lamp is
exceeded, the red LED/fault signalling lamp on
the front of the switch cabinet shines and a
message appears in the Messages menu. The
UV lamp has to be replaced. The maximum
permitted throughput of the UV reactor is
2.5m³/h.

Note!
For maintenance and other work on
the UV reactor, the information in the
operating instructions of the UV
reactor must be observed (Annex 4).
Replacing the UV lamp:
1.
Switch off the m ain s witch.
2.
Disconnect the connecting plug of the UV lamp.
3.
Undo the fastening screws of the access
protection and remove the protection plate.
4.
Undo the cap nut on the reactor and draw out the
UV lamp together with the lamp holder.
5.
Remove the UV lamp, paying attention that only
the white protective tape of the UV tube is
touched.

6.
Detach the UV lamp from the holder carrier (push
fit) and replace it.
7.
To fit the new lamp, proceed in reverse order.
8.
To check function, activate Manual
UV in the menu. The characteristic blue
mode
glow of the UV lamp can be seen through the
semi-transparent reactor.
9.
Finally, the operating hours of the UV reactor
have to be set to zero in the menu Status
display

Warning!
UV radiation can damage the eyes and skin.
Do not switch on the UV lamp as long as it is outside the glass body and
reactor.
Before the function test, push the UV lamp into the glass body and reactor
again.
