Information for the user
In addition to the safety information, please
note the following principles:
Permanently mark all tapping points for
•
process water with "Non-potable
water". This also applies to garden
taps.
If you use detachable or lockable
•
turning handles on taps accessible to
the public, they must not be replaced
by an upper part operable by a T-
handle. After using the tap, remove the
turning handle or lock it.
If changes to the water become evident
•
at the tapping points, as regards odour,
colour and/or suspended matter, check
the system. If appropriate, enlist the
services of an expert.
Do not use any chemicals or additives
•
for operating and cleaning the system.
There must not be any interconnection
•
between drinking water and process
water.
Before the onset of frost, shut off and
•
drain any tapping points and process
water conduits which are not frost-
protected.
If there is a risk of frost when the
•
system is out of use for lengthy periods
or if it is stored outdoors, ensure that
the system is fully drained and that the
pumps and piping are water-free.
Do not subject any feed pipes, overflow
•
pipes, drainage and draw-off pipes to
static load (e.g. by attaching articles).
Data relating to water economies to be
•
achieved are approximate values and
are dependent on user habits and
operation of the system.
