▶ Wait at least three minutes until the con-
densers have discharged.
▶ Check that there is no voltage.
Due to the high supply voltages, electronic
components may be damaged.
▶ Ensure that the mains voltage is in the
permissible range.
▶ Ensure that the mains voltage is correctly
disconnected from the safety extra-low
voltage.
▶ Do not connect any mains voltage to ter-
minals BUS, S20, S21, X41.
▶ Only connect the power supply cable to
the terminals that are marked for the pur-
pose.
1.3.3 Hot or cold components
There is a risk of burns and frostbite from
some components, particularly uninsulated
pipelines.
▶ Only carry out work on the components
once these have reached environmental
temperature.
1.3.4 Installation site
▶ Do not install the product in rooms prone
to frost.
▶ Ensure that the installation surface has
sufficient load-bearing capacity to bear the
operating weight of the product.
▶ Make sure that the product is positioned
flush against the installation surface.
▶ Ensure that you do not damage the heat
insulation on the lines in order to prevent
condensate from forming.
1.3.5 Tool, material and equipment
To prevent material damage:
▶ Only use the correct tool.
▶ Only use special copper pipes as refriger-
ant pipes for the refrigeration technology.
▶ Ensure that the heating water is of suffi-
cient quality.
▶ Only add approved antifreeze and corro-
sion inhibitors to the heating water.
1.3.6 Weight
To prevent injuries when transporting the
product:
204
▶ Make sure that the product is carried by at
least two people.
1.3.7 Frost
If there is ice in the lines, the installation may
be mechanically damaged.
▶ Always observe the frost protection in-
structions.
▶ Do not switch the installation on when
there is a risk of frost.
1.3.8 Safety devices
▶ Install the necessary safety devices in the
installation.
▶ Observe the applicable national and inter-
national laws, standards and directives.
▶ Ensure that the heating installation is in a
technically perfect condition.
▶ Ensure that no safety or monitoring
devices have been removed, bridged or
disabled.
▶ Immediately eliminate any faults and dam-
age that may affect safety.
1.3.9 Transport
The carrying straps may damage the front
casing during transport.
Due to material ageing, they are not designed
to be reused during any subsequent trans-
portation.
▶ Remove the front casing before you use
the carrying straps.
▶ Once the product has been started up, cut
off the carrying straps.
1.3.10 Installation
Stresses in supply lines
Stresses in supply lines can cause leaks.
▶ Install the supply lines so that they are free
from mechanical stress.
Heat transfer when soldering
▶ Only solder connectors if the connectors
are not yet screwed to the service valves.
When extracting refrigerant, there is a risk of
material damage caused by freezing.
▶ Ensure that heating water flows through
the indoor unit's condenser or it is com-
pletely drained when extracting refrigerant
on the secondary side.
