4.
Connect a filling hose to the filling/draining valve (1).
5.
To do this, unscrew the screw cap from the
filling/draining valve and secure the free end of the
filling hose to here.
6.
Open the filling/draining valve.
7.
Open the heating water supply slowly.
8.
Start the filling programme.
◁
The internal 3-port valve is moved to the mid-posi-
tion.
◁
The heating circuit and the spiral immersion heater
for the domestic hot water cylinder are filled at the
same time.
9.
Purge the highest radiator or underfloor heating circuit
and wait until the circuit is completely purged.
◁
The water must escape from the purging valve
without bubbles.
10.
Fill with water until the manometer shows that the
heating installation has reached a pressure of approx.
2.0 bar.
Note
If you fill the heating circuit at an external
location, you must install an additional
manometer to check the pressure in the
installation.
11.
Close the filling/draining valve.
12.
Start the purging programme. (→ Page 225)
13.
Then check the heating installation pressure again fol-
lowing purging (if required, repeat the filling procedure).

1.5 bar operating pressure
14.
Remove the filling hose from the filling/draining valve
and screw the screw cap back on.

Filling the domestic hot water circuit
1.
Open all domestic hot water tap fittings.
2.
Wait until water escapes from each draw-off point and
then close all the hot water taps.
3.
Check the system for tightness.
8.5
Purging
1.
If required, connect a hose to the connection to the
internal automatic air vent (1) via the electric back-up
heater in order to divert escaping water.
2.
Start the purge programme for the building circuit P06
MENU | SETTINGS | Installer level | Test modes |
Check programmes | P.06 Purge programme.
3.
Allow the P06 function to run for 15 minutes.
◁
The programme runs for 15 minutes. For 7.5
minutes of that time, the prioritising diverter valve
is at the "heating circuit" position. The prioritising
diverter valve then switches to the "domestic hot
water cylinder" position for 7.5 minutes.
◁
The purge programme starts automatically when
the filling pressure of the heating installation is in-
creased during operation. It runs in the background
and cannot be cancelled.
4.
Once both purge programmes have finished, check
whether the pressure in the heating circuit is 1.5 bar.
◁
Top up with water if the pressure is below 1.5 bar.

Switching on the product
Note
The product does not have an on/off switch. The
product is switched on as soon as it is connected
to the power grid.
1.
Use the partition that is installed on-site (e.g. fuses or
power switches) to switch on the product.
◁
The display shows the basic display.
◁
The basic display appears on the system control
display.
◁
The system's products start up.
◁
The heating and domestic hot water demand are
activated by default.
2.
When you start up the heat pump system for the first
time after electrical installation, the installation assist-
ants for the system components will start automatically.
Set the required values on the control panel of the in-
door unit first, then on the system control and the other
system components.
