6.12
Installing the wired system control
1.
Connect the eBUS cable for the system control to the
eBUS plug on the electronics box; see the wiring dia-
grams in the appendix.
2.
Consult the instructions for the system control for notes
on set-up.
6.13
Connecting the external circulation pump
1.
Carry out the wiring. (→ Page 220)
Note
To guarantee that there are no ignition
sources, the external circulation pump must
never be installed in the product.
2.
Route the 230 V connection cable for the circulation
pump from the right and into the control PCB's elec-
tronics box.
3.
Connect the 230 V connection cable to the plug from
slot X11 on the control PCB and plug it into the slot.
4.
Connect the connection cable for the external button
using terminals 1 (0) and 6 (functional drawing) on the
X41 edge connector, which is supplied with the control.
5.
Plug the edge connector into slot X41 on the control
PCB.
6.14
Actuating a circulation pump with an eBUS
control
1.
Ensure that the circulation pump is correctly paramet-
rised in the system control.
2.
Select a hot water programme (preparation).
3.
Parametrise a circulation programme in the system
control.
◁
The pump runs during the time period specified in
the programme.
6.15
Connecting a limit thermostat for the
underfloor heating
Condition: If you are connecting a limit thermostat for underfloor heating:
▶
Route the connection cable for the limit thermostat
through the left-hand strain reliefs on the electronics box.
▶
Pull out the S20 plug for the bypass line at terminal X100
on the control PCB.
▶
Connect the limit thermostat to plug S20.
6.16
Connecting the external prioritising diverter
valve (optional)
▶
Connect the external prioritising diverter valve to X14 on
the control PCB.
–
The connection to a permanently live phase "L" with
230 V and to a switched phase "S" is available.
Phase "S" is actuated by an internal relay and
releases 230 V.

6.17
Connecting the SR 70/SR 71 mixer module
1.
Connect the power supply for the SR 70/SR 71 mixer
module to X314 on the power supply PCB.
2.
Connect the SR 70/SR 71 mixer module to the eBUS
interface on the control PCB.
6.18
Using the additional relays
▶
If required, consult the installation diagram handbook
that is contained in the scope of delivery for the system
control and the handbook for the optional module.
6.19
Connecting cascades
1.
If you want to use cascades (max. seven units), you
must connect the eBUS line to contact X100 via the
SR32b bus coupler (accessory).
2.
If you install multiple eBUS units, use an eBUS mani-
fold in order to bring the lines together and to connect
these to the heat pump.
6.20
Closing the electronics box
1.
Push the cover for the electronics box onto the elec-
tronics box so that the clips click into place.
2.
Swivel the electronics box back again.
6.21
Checking the electrical installation
1.
After the installation is complete, check the electrical
installation to ensure that the connections that have
been established are secured properly and are suffi-
ciently insulated.
2.
Check that the power supply cable and the Modbus
cable are routed in such a way that they are not ex-
posed to any wear, corrosion, tension, vibrations, sharp
edges or any other unfavourable environmental influ-
ences.

Operation
7.1
Operating concept of the product
The operating concept and the read-out and setting options
of the end user level are described in the operating instruc-
tions.
8
Start-up
8.1
Checking before switching on
▶
Check whether all the hydraulic connections are estab-
lished correctly.
▶
Check whether all the electrical connections are estab-
lished correctly.
▶
Check whether the disconnector is installed.
▶
If it is stipulated for the installation site, check whether a
residual-current circuit breaker has been installed.
▶
Read through the operating instructions.
▶
After installation, ensure that at least 30 minutes have
passed before switching on the product.
▶
Ensure that the cover for the electrical connections is
installed.
