Code/meaning
F.818
The mains voltage at the fre-
quency inverter is not available
or outside of the tolerances.
F.819
The frequency inverter has
overheated.
F.820
The communication with the
building circuit pump has been
interrupted.
F.821
Electric back-up heater flow
temperature sensor signal in-
valid
F.823
Compressor temperature switch
has triggered
F.824
A decoupling module is avail-
able for frost protection. The
pressure in the brine circuit of
the decoupling module is too
low.
F.825
The signal for the temperature
sensor at the condenser inlet in
the refrigerant circuit is invalid.
F.827
The signal for the water pres-
sure sensor in the building cir-
cuit is invalid.
F.828
The door to the refrigerant
circuit components is open,
thereby interrupting the safety
mechanism.
F.829
F.905
Communication interface
switched off

Possible cause
Incorrect mains voltage for op-
erating the frequency converter.
Shutdown via the energy supply
company.
Internal overheating of the fre-
quency converter.
Pump does not report any sig-
nal back to the heat pump.
Sensor not connected or sensor
input has short-circuited. Both
of the flow temperature sensors
in the heat pump are defective.
The hot gas thermostat shuts
down the heat pump if the tem-
perature in the refrigerant circuit
is too high. Following a waiting
period, the heat pump attempts
to start once more. After three
failed start attempts in succes-
sion, a fault message is dis-
played. Max. refrigerant circuit
temperature: 130 °C. Waiting
period: 5 mins (after it first oc-
curs). Waiting period: 30 mins
(after it occurs a second time
and any other time after that).
The fault counter is reset if
both of the following conditions
are met: Heat demand without
switching off prematurely. 60
mins uninterrupted operation.
No heating water in the building
circuit (decoupled) or pressure
too low.
Refrigerant circuit temperature
sensor (vapour-forming) not
connected or the sensor input
has short-circuited.
Sensor not connected or sensor
input has short-circuited.
Door sensor of the refrigerant
circuit compartment is defective
The signal for the sensor for
the maintenance opening in
the refrigerant circuit is invalid,
has short-circuited or has been
interrupted.
Overcurrent at the communica-
tion interface
Measure
Measure and, if required, correct the mains voltage. The mains
voltage must be between 195 V and 253 V.
1.
Allow the frequency converter to cool and restart the
product.
2.
Check the frequency converter's air route.
3.
Check that the fan is working correctly.
4.
The maximum environmental temperature of the outdoor
unit (46 °C) has been exceeded.
1.
Check the cable to the pump for defects and, if required,
replace it.
2.
Replace the pump.
1.
Check and, if required, replace the sensor.
2.
Replace the wiring harness.
1.
Check the EEV.
2.
Replace the dirt filter in the refrigerant circuit, if required.
1.
Increase the pressure to above 0.5 bar and check it.
2.
Check and, if required, replace the sensor.
Check and, if required, replace the sensor and cable.
1.
Check and, if required, replace the sensor.
2.
Replace the wiring harness.
3.
Replace the control PCB.
Check: Plug, wiring harness, sensor, PCB.
Check: Plug, wiring harness, sensor, PCB.
1.
Check the connection between the PCB and the modules
that are connected to the interface.
2.
Check the connected modules and replace these, if
required.
