6.4
Electrical partition
The electrical partitions are referred to as "disconnectors"
in these instructions. The fuse or the circuit breaker that is
installed in the building's meter/fuse box is usually used as
the disconnector.
6.5
Installing components for the energy supply
company lockout function
The heat generation of the heat pump can be switched off in-
termittently. It is switched off by the energy supply company
and usually with a ripple control receiver.
▶
Connect a 2-pole control cable to the relay contact
(potential-free) for the ripple control receiver and to
connection S21, see appendix.
Note
In the event of control via connection S21, the
energy supply does not have to be disconnec-
ted on-site.
▶
In the system control, set whether the back-up heater,
the compressor or both should be blocked.
▶
Set the parametrisation for connection S21 in the system
control.
6.6
Opening the electronics box
1.
Remove the front casing. (→ Page 213)
2.
Swivel the electronics box to the side. (→ Page 214)
3.
If required, lock the electronics box using the enclosed
handrail.

4.
Undo the clips from the brackets and remove the elec-
tronics box cover.

Carrying out the wiring
Danger!
Risk of death from electric shock!
Continuous voltage is present at power sup-
ply terminals L1, L2, L3 and N:
▶
Switch off the power supply.
▶
Check that there is no voltage.
▶
Secure the power supply against being
switched back on.
Note
There is a safety extra-low voltage (SELV) at con-
nections S20 and S21.
Note
If the energy supply company lockout function is
used, connect a potential-free normally open con-
tact with a breaking capacity of 24 V/0.1 A to con-
nection S21. You must configure how the connec-
tion works in the system control. (For example, if
the contact is closed, the electric back-up heater
is blocked.)
1.
At lengths of 10 m or more, mains voltage connec-
tion cables must be laid separately from sensor or
bus lines. Minimum clearance for the extra low-voltage
wire and power supply cable at a line length of > 10 m:
25 cm. If this is not possible, use shielded lines. Lay
the shielding on one side of the sheet for the product's
electronics box.
2.
Shorten the connection cables according to require-
ments.

To prevent short circuits if a strand accidentally comes
loose, only strip the outer sheathing of flexible ducts to
a maximum of 30 mm.
