To take
a sharp
picture, the
important
thing is to
hold your
camera
in a
stable
manner
to
prevent it fr
o
m
being
jarred
when
the
shutter button
is depressed.
Hold
yo
ur
ca mera
in
both hands and
make
it
stable
by
holding
it
aga
inst your
face
and
pressing
th
e
elb ow of
yo
ur hand supp
orting
the camera
against your
body.
Particularly
,
it
is more
difficult
to
hold th
e ca
mera, th
e
long
side
up,
than to hold
it,
th
e lo ng side
down. It would
be
advisab le to
ge
t yourself accustomed
to the
verti cal
holding
of
yo
ur
ca
mera.
•
In
taking
pictures at slow shutter
speeds
or with a
telephoto lens,
th
e ca mera
is
likely to be
jarred if it
is
hold in
the
hands.
Here,
th
e
use of a tripod and
a cable
release
is
advisabl e.
The
tripod will
be
fi xed
to the
Tripod Socket (42)
of
the underside
of
the
cam
era
and th
e ca ble release
to th
e
tap-hole
of
the
shutter button.
