Window Protocol Description
Description
The remote panel acts as a gateway between the host and the
controller. Some command are managed directly by the Remote
Panel, which sends the appropriate commands to the controller.
Other commands are just passed to the controller and then the
answer is sent back to the host. This section of the manual describes
the former commands, while for the latter commands refer to the
manual of the controller the remote panel is connected to. In case of
duplicated commands the first types ones have always the priority.
The Window 008 of the controller to which the remote panel is attached to is
NOTE
always fixed to the value 0 (Serial), in order to allow the Remote Panel to write
data on the controller. Trying to set this window to any other value has no effect
(the controller will turn it back to 0).
