This manual is designed to assist you with the operation of the Transfer Flat.

the Transfer Flat, it is recommended that methods and procedures be established
for educating and training staff on the safe operation of this unit.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The model 6005 Transfer Flat is a support surface with perimeter handles to
facilitate the transfer and transport of patients during EMS service calls. It is
a comfortable, flexible, durable and cleanable support. A retaining feature to
facilitate folding and storage has also been integrated into the device.

INTENDED USE OF PRODUCT

The model 6005 Transfer Flat is intended to be used as a manual patient transfer
device. The device shall be used by emergency medical service personnel to
transfer patients, with minimal disturbance, to another surface.
WARNING
• Do not modify the Transfer Flat. Modifying the Transfer Flat can cause
unpredictable operation resulting in injury to the patient or operator.
Modifying the Transfer Flat will also void its warranty.
• The Transfer Flat is not designed or recommended for use with patients with
suspected cervical, spinal, or fracture injuries.
