Checking brake pads for wear (fig. 49)
To facilitate inspection without removing the pads from MIN
the calipers, brake pads have a wear mark. If the grooves
in the friction material are still visible, the pad is still in
good condition.
The rear brake pads must be replaced when about 1 mm
of friction lining (fig. 49a) is still visible through the opening
in the callipers. E
Important
Have the brake pads replaced at a Ducati Dealer or
Authorized Workshop.
