Checking brake pads for wear (fig. 35)
Front brake

To facilitate inspection without removing the pads from
the callipers, brake pads have a wear mark. If the grooves
in the friction material are still visible, the pad is still in good
condition.
Rear brake

The friction material on each pad should be at least
1 mm thick.
