e) Modifying the throttle function
If you prefer to have the throttle function on the right hand as opposed to the left hand stick, you have the option of
swapping the rest/hold function and the spring return mechanism of the two stick units.
To make the necessary changes, some experience with remote control transmitters is required. Therefore you should
consult an experienced model maker or a model construction club if you do not feel capable of undertaking the
procedures described in the following.
Unscrew the four screws by means of a screwdriver from the rear
panel of the transmitter and lift the rear panel carefully.
Remove the coach spring (1) from the right stick aggregate (seen
from the rear) and screw in the spring turned by 180° to the left
aggregate (see bottom figure in screen 6).
Use the bottom screw (2) that is turned into the metal threaded
sleeve (3) at the top at the left stick unit the to adjust the friction
force of the leaf spring individually.
Bend the tip of a pin with fine tongs to form a hook and use it to
unhook the return spring (4) from the return stick (5) at the left
joystick unit (viewed from behind). After unhooking the spring, you
can also fold up the return stick at the left stick unit as well and pull
it off from the rotating axis.
After replacing the return stick mirror-inverted at the right stick unit
onto the rotating axis (6), you can easily replace the return spring
"hooked pin" entirely.
Once you have checked the mechanical function of the two stick
units, replace the rear panel and screw it back into place.
Observe that the binding button is correctly placed and can be
operated easily. The electronic modification of the throttle function

is done later in the System setting menu under "Sticks mode".
