Attention!
The receiver has an aerial (1) protected with a shrink
hose with a precisely dimensioned aerial wire (2).
The aerial wire must not be rolled up, angled, placed it
in a loop or cut it off. This would decrease the range of
the remote control significantly and thus pose a
considerable safety risk.
Place the receiver aerial in the model as straight as
possible and keep the largest possible distance to
metal parts.
We recommend that you place the receiver aerial
vertically to warrant best reception. In this case, you
should also align the transmitter aerial vertically.
d) Mounting the Servos
To install the servos (1) please use the rubber elements (2) supplied
with the servos and the screw grommet (3).
The rubber elements are intended to protect the servos from shocks
to the model during operation. Therefore, the servo casing must
be able to swing freely. It must not have direct contact to the model.
Linkages and servo arms of servos installed next to each other
must not obstruct one another even at full deflection.
When servo arms or linkages are obstructed, the servos cannot
assume the required positions. This causes higher power
consumption and the model cannot be controlled properly.
Always mount the servo stick at a 90° angle to the linkage rods
(see sketch A).
The rudder or steering travel will not be equal on both sides if the
servo stick is mounted at an angle to the linkage rod (sketches B
and C).
