BOWA recommends the use of neutral to slightly alkaline cleaning or clea-
ning/disinfecting agents without hazardous ingredients. Depending on the
concentration, alcohol and/or aldehyde ingredient materials are permitted.
The suitability of the devices for effective cleaning/disinfection was docu-
mented by BOWA for the machine process (90°C, 5 minutes) using an al-
kaline cleaning agent with added tenside (neodisher® MediClean forte)
This applies in the following conditions: The described cleaning and dis-
infecting method is applied when cleaning/disinfecting. Cleaning agents
must offer the proven effectiveness and be compatible with the system
(disinfector and cleaning agent) used in the specifi ed test.
When alkaline cleaning agents (pH 9.5 – 11.5) are used, discoloration of
metallic surfaces may occur. This does not affect the proper functioning
of the device. Do not use strongly alkaline cleaning agents (pH > 11.5).
Storage and disposal
Storage:
Store dry at room temperature.
Do not expose the equipment to strong mechanical effects
such as impacts, dropping or striking.
Storage conditions:
Store dry at room temperature.
(max. temperature -25ºC to +50ºC, relative humidity 0 to 75%
and air pressure of 500 to 1600 mbar)
Keep out of direct sunlight.
Avoid continuous exposure to X-rays.
