Intended use
These devices may be used only in medical institutions by trained
medical personnel.
The connection cable for fl exible argon probes is a reusable, steam-steri-
lized supply line for fl exible argon probes. The connection is made via an
electrical line to the HF generator; the connection to the argon gas supply
unit is made via an integrated hose adapter. The connection line with the
fl exible probes can be used in conjunction with HF generators for peak
voltages up to a maximum of 5,200 Vp.
The device, together with the fl exible probes, is designed for use in HF APC
surgery. The argon control unit and the HF generator are activated using the
foot switch.
