The concentrations and dwell times specifi ed by the manufacturers of the
cleaning and disinfecting agents must be complied with.
Procedure:
1. Place the instruments in the disinfection unit. Ensure that the cables
are not kinked or pinched.
Connect the hollow cavities to fl ushing tubes and/or hoses to ensure
suffi cient rinsing of the instruments.
Use the BOWA Luer rinsing adapter (REF 932-900 & 932-910) as
follows:
Step 1:
We recommend locking the probe into the adapter using
slight pressure and then beginning the installation in the
machine.
Step 2:
A secure connection of the adapter with the probe is facilitated
in the washer via the lockable connection mechanism (Luer
lock) of the two parts. The locking of the two parts is esta-
blished by screwing the adapter into the washer connection.
