6. Storage for use
7. Assembling parts/ Inspection / Function test in OR
Assemble the disassembled instruments as required for the relevant
application. A visual inspection and function test must be carried out be-
fore each use.

Material compatibility / reusability
With appropriate care and inspection, the fl exible argon probes and the
connection cable can be re-used up to 20 times, the cable 200 times, the
COMFORT cable 100 times (in each case with reference to a sterilization
time of 20 minutes and a sterilization temperature of 134 °C); every use
beyond that is at the user's own responsibility.
The service life of the devices was validated with the use of the recom-
mended cleaning and preparation procedures. Improper handling and un-
suitable preparation media reduce the service life.
Defective probes and cables may not be repaired. Always replace a
defective part with a new one.
