1) Install the lock nut and shift pivot on each control
cable.
• Set each shift pivot at the position 5 mm (0.2 in)
or more from the cable end as shown.
• Apply the marine grease to the pivot pins.

2) Pass the starter cable, switch panel cable and
indicator cord through the under case grommet A,
and install them in the outboard motor.
3) Set the harness band clip on the clip bracket and
clamp the switch panel cable and indicator cord
with the harness band clip.
4) Connect the connectors to the main wire harness
and set them on the holders.
