2.3 Changing steering position
(taking over)
Press the 'SET' button at the passive steering position.
The LED will light up. If the handle is at the same position as
that at the other steering position the LED will stay alight.
If the handle is not at the same position as that at the other
steering position the LED will flash. In that case move the han-
dle to the position at which the LED stays on.
As the handle gets nearer to the correct position the LED will
stay on for longer.
Press the 'SET' button at the passive steering position again.
The LED will now stay on and this steering position has been
activated. The LED will stay on continuously.
If the 'SET' button is not pressed within 6 seconds after moving
the handle for the last time then the takeover procedure will be
cancelled.
If a master switch is fitted and this has been switched on
then a takeover procedure is not possible. Operation is then
only possible from handle 1.
