und Muttern -14- an die Halteschiene -5- lose anschrauben.

1. Halteschiene -5- wie dargestellt im hinteren Bereich der
Bordwand positionieren.
Hinweis
Heckklappe öffnen, um an die Halteschiene -5- zu gelangen.
2. Halteplatte -8- mit Halteschiene -5- horizontal ausrichten,
sodass der Haltebolzen in das Schloss der
Laderaumabdeckung (Pfeil -A-) greift.
3. Bohrungen -a- an der Bordwand markieren.
4. Laderaumabdeckung öffnen.
5. Halteplatte -8- mit Halteschiene -5- abnehmen und an den
Markierungen -a- bohren.
- Mit dem Bohrer 2,5 mm Ø vorbohren.
- Mit dem Bohrer 8,5 mm Ø die erforderlichen Bohrlöcher
bohren.
6. Alle Bohrungen entgraten und Korrosionsschutzmaßnahmen
gemäß der Volkswagen KD-Literatur im elektronischen
Service Auskunftssystem (ELSA) durchführen.
7. Die Abbildung zeigt die linke Seite, der Anbau auf der
rechten Seite erfolgt sinngemäß.

1. Loosely secure the retaining plates -8- to the retaining
rails -5- using the washers -16- and nuts -14-.

1. Position the retaining rail -5- in the rear area of the
sideboard as shown.
Note
Open tailboard so you can reach the retaining rail -5-.
2. Horizontally and vertically align the retaining plate -8- with
retaining rail -5- in a way that the retaining pin engages in
the load compartment cover's lock (arrow -A-).
3. Mark holes -a- on sideboard.
4. Open load compartment cover.
5. Remove retaining plate -8- with retaining rail -5- and drill out
the marked positions -a-.
- Drill hole with a 2.5 mm Ø drill bit fi rst.
- Drill out the required holes using 8.5 mm Ø drill bit.
6. Remove burrs from all holes and carry out corrosion
protection measures according to Volkswagen service
literature found in Electronic Service Information System
(ELSA).
7. The fi gure depicts the left-hand side. Mounting on the right-
hand is carried out using the same logical principle.
