1. Bohrungen -a- an der Stirnwand markieren.
2. Befestigungsschiene links -4- mit Winkel -31- abnehmen
und an den Markierungen -a- bohren.
- Mit dem Bohrer 2,5 mm Ø vorbohren.
- Mit dem Bohrer 8,5 mm Ø die erforderlichen Bohrlöcher
bohren.
3. Alle Bohrungen an der Bordwand sowie an der Stirnwand
entgraten und Korrosionsschutzmaßnahmen gemäß der
Volkswagen KD-Literatur im elektronischen Service
Auskunftssystem (ELSA) durchführen.
4. Befestigungsschiene links -4- mit Winkel -31-,
Stützblechen -2-, Schrauben -24-, Unterlegscheiben -32-
und Muttern -25- an der Bordwand sowie an der
Stirnwand befestigen.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 25 Nm
5. Die Befestigung der Befestigungsschiene rechts -7- erfolgt
an der rechten Bordwand sinngemäß.

1. Halteblech -9- wie dargestellt in die Einbauposition
bringen und gleichmäßig mittig ausrichten (Pfeile).
2. Jeweils links und rechts das Halteblech -9- mit den
Schlossschrauben -15-, Unterlegscheiben -16- und
Muttern -14- anschrauben.
Anzugsdrehmoment: 8 Nm

1. Mark holes -a- on the bulkhead.
2. Remove securing rail -4- with bracket -31- and drill out
the marked positions -a-.
- Drill hole with a 2.5 mm Ø drill bit fi rst.
- Drill out the required holes using 8.5 mm Ø drill bit.
3. Remove burrs from all holes on bulkhead and sideboards
and carry out corrosion protection measures according
to Volkswagen service literature found in Electronic
Service Information System (ELSA).
4. Secure left securing rail -4- to bulkhead and sideboard
using bracket -31-, support plates -2-, bolts -24-,
washers -32- and nuts -25-.
Specifi ed tightening torque: 25 Nm
5. The right securing rail -7- is attached to the right
sideboard using the same logical procedure.

1. Move the retainer -9- into its installation position as
shown while simultaneously aligning it centrally (arrows).
2. Bolt the retainer -9- to the left- and right sides using the
coach bolts -15-, washers -16- and nuts -14-.
Specifi ed tightening torque: 8 Nm
