Please carefully follow the steps described in this booklet
and heed all warnings as well as safety information.

Corrosion protection
Note
All drilled holes must be de-burred from both sides. Metal
shavings must be removed / vacuumed up immediately,
and you must make sure that no shavings fall into the
hollow space in the body!
Reinstate construction of paintwork (according to VW
paintwork repair manual, see ELSA).
1. Apply primer.
2. Allow the primer to dry in accordance with the item
description. A hot-air dryer can be used, if necessary.
3. Apply base coat appropriate to the vehicle-specifi c
paint colour.
4. Allow the base coat to dry in accordance with the item
description. A hot-air dryer can be used, if necessary.
5. Carry out preservation (use Cavity preservative
D 308 SP5 A1), for example, for this.
