vibrations, strong magnetic fields (e.g. in the
vicinity of machines, motors or speakers).
• If the multimeter is moved from a cold into a
warm environment condensation may form
inside it and, at worst, it may be damaged
beyond repair, therefore, do not switch the
multimeter on until it has reached room
temperature.
• Never change the measuring function while
measurement is in progress. Always remove the
test leads before switching between the volt,
amp and ohm measuring functions. Likewise,
always disconnect the test leads before
switching off.
• When measuring voltages, there should never
be any component connected to the hFE jack.
When you switch from one measuring range to
another, voltage peaks may occur and damage
the multimeter.
Do not use the multimeter for voltage
measurement if voltages above 500 V are
expected.
Do not use this multimeter for measurements
in house distribution boards or three-phase
supplies (380 V/400 V). Measurements in a
230 V network (e.g. domestic power circuit) are
permissible.
• Before using the transistor test function,
disconnect the test leads.
