Draining the container with pump (optional pump fitting)
In order to avoid having to drain the container manually, you can pump out the cooking oil/fat to
be disposed of using the pump.

Preparations
. For draining frying oil/frying fat into container
and filtering, see page 35 chapter 3.2.1.
. Insert the drain hose between filling tube
and cap.
. Hold filling tube into heat-resistant vessel.
Pumping
Manual switching on and off of the
pump: The drain process must be supervised
and switched off by hand!
. Switch on pump.
D The indicator light in the switch comes on
and the pump starts.
D Please observe: The intake time may last up
to three minutes.
D Only fill the container 3/4 full!
. When the vessel is full or the frying oil/frying
fat has been completely pumped out of the
container, switch off pump - push the pump
switch.
D The indicator light in the switch goes off.
. Firmly close the container with a lid and la
bel it with a notice "hot material".
CAUTION Danger of slipping! Immedi
ately clean any fat splashes off the floor.
