Draining, cleaning

6.1.1

Emptying the pan

. Switch off the unit - Turn rotary switch to 0 position.
. Wear fat and heat resistant shoes, gloves and a leather apron.
D For emptying and filtering, the frying oil/frying fat must still be at least 60 C hot!
D To drain the pan/tub and filter the cooking oil/fat, see Chapter 3. page 32

. Wear fat and heat resistant shoes, gloves
and a leather apron.
. Slide the container gently and carefully out
on the guide rails until it stops.
Be careful of dripping fat, and or floors
soiled by cooking oil/fat! For this purpose, pre­
pare a contains for the parts which are re­
moved!
. Remove the coarse filter and fine filter and
place these in the prepared container.
. Carefully unhook the container:
− Slide the container out on the guide rails
until it stops,
− raise the forward handle of the container
by approx. 5 cm,
− and then further draw out the container
until it stops,
− then remove the container from the guide
rails using both handles.
. Empty the cooking oil/fat over the pour
opening into a heat-resistant pan.
. Firmly close the container with a lid and la­
bel it with a notice "hot material".
CAUTION Danger of slipping! Immedi­
ately clean any fat splashes off the floor.
