TO PLAY AN LD, CDV OR CD (Continue)
To avoid malfunctions, be especially careful about the following
points.
e
Do not place any object other than a disc on the disc table.
e
Do not move the player while a disc is playing. This will cause
the disc to be scratched.
e
Be careful not to catch your finger in the disc table section
while the disc table is being retracted into the unit.
Also, be
careful that children do not put their hands into the inside of the
unit while the disc table is open. This may cause injury.
Precautions concerning disc loading
e
Do not place more than one disc on the disc table. If two discs
are placed one on top of the other on the disc table, discs may
be scratched and/or malfunction may occur.
e
With this unit, playback of all types of discs is carried out without
the use of adaptors.
Therefore, do not use any type of adaptor
with this unit.
e With CDs, CDV discs, and single-sided LDs, always be sure to
load discs with the label side facing upward.
Last Memory function:
If the power is turned off during LD playback, a playback position
slightly behind of the current frame is stored in the unit's memory
(Last Memory). When the power is turned back on and playback
begins from the memorized position by pressing ki or >.
To specify and play a single side (side A or side B)
To play side A only, press DISC SIDE A instead of PLAY. Side A will
be played and then playback will stop.
To play side B only, press DISC SIDE B instead of PLAY. Side B will
be played and then playback will stop.

To turn off the display
Pressing FL OFF turns off the display in the front panel display
window and causes the FL OFF indicator to light. Press the button
again to cause the display to return. Turning off the display prevents
low levels of noise from adversely affecting sound quality.
Discs marked with the COM mark
Discs marked OX are recorded with the CX noise reduction system
for powerful audio reproduction with little noise. (Analog audio only)
However, some discs marked [2% are not encoded with the signals
necessary to instruct the unit to automatically switch on the CX
system. If sound is noisy or undulates when a disc with a DX
mark is played, press D/A/CX button on the remote control unit.

Pour éviter de mauvais fonctionnements, attention aux points

Ne pas placer d'objets autres qu'un disc sur le plateau.

Ne pas déplacer le lecteur pendant la lecture d'un disc.
Ceci
provoquera des rayures du disc.

Nepassecoincer
les doigts dans la section du plateau
du disc alors
que celui-ci rentre dans l'appareil. Attention aussi à ce que les
enfants ne placent pas leurs mains dans l'appareil alors que le
plateau du disc est ouvert car ceci peut étre dangereux.
Précautions concernant le chargement des discs
e
Ne pas placer plus d'un disc sur le plateau.
Si deux discs sont
placés l'un sur l'autre sur le plateau du disc, ils peuvent être rayés
et/ou un mauvais fonctionnement peut se produire.
e
Avec cet appareil, la lecture de tous les types de disc est effectuée
sans utilisation d'adaptateurs.
Par conséquent, n'utiliser aucun
type d'adaptateur avec cet appareil.
e
Avec les discs CD, CDV et LD à une seule face, toujours charger
les discs avec le còté étiqueté vers le haut.
Fonction de dernière mémoire:
Si l'alimentation est coupée pendant la lecture LD, une position de
lecture légèrement avant l'image actuelle est mémorisée (dernière
mémoire). Quand l'alimentation est refournie, la lecture commence
a partir de la position mémorisée en pressant ki ou >.
Pour spécifier et lire une seule face (face A ou B)
Pour ne lire que la face A, presser DISC SIDE A au lieu de PLAY. La
face A sera lue puis la lecture s'arrêtera.
Pour ne lire que la face B, presser DISC SIDE B au lieu de PLAY. La
face B sera lue puis la lecture s'arrêtera.

Pour éteindre l'affichage
Appuyer sur la touche FL OFF pour éteindre l'affichage. Le témoin FL
OFF s'allume. Pour rallumer l'affichage, appuyer sur la touche une
seconde fois. La présence de l'affichage produit des interférences
qui, bien que minimes, nuisent à la qualité de l'image et il vaut mieux
éteindre l'affichage.
Discs portant la marque CES
Les discs portant la marqueR3X sont enregistrés avec la réduction de
bruit CX pour une reproduction audio puissante avec peu de bruit.
{Audio analogique seulement)
Cependant,
certains discs marqués OX ne sont pas codés des
signaux nécessaire a cet appareil pour commuter automatiquement
le système D/A/CX. Si le son semble contenir du bruit ou est ondulé
quand un disc avec la marque DK est lu, presser la touche CX de la
télécommande.

DX est une marque déposée de CBS Inc. Ce lecteur répond à la
CX EXPANDING SPECIFICATION.
