Split Editing
In the insert edit mode, you can start or stop edit-recording of the video, audio CH-1
and audio CH-2 independently.
This is called split editing.
e This editing can be performed only in the insert edit mode, not in the assemble edit
mode.
1 Press the desired INSERT button(s) to select the signal(s) to insert, and then press
the AUTO EDIT button.
The insert editing will begin. *
2 At the point where the insertion of the selected signal(s) is to stop, press the
button(s) again. Insertion of the signal(s) of the pressed button(s) ends. The other
signal(s) is (are) still inserted.
You may cut in or cut out any one or more signals repeatedly at any point by
pressing the desired INSERT button(s). * *
Manual split editing
To start or stop inserting manually, see 'Manual Editing".
*Up to three INSERT buttons can be pressed. All the
selected signals will be edited.
* * All three buttons (VIDEO, AUDIO CH-1 and AUDIO
CH-2) may be pressed.
