Set to the appropriate positions according to the level of the audio signals supplied to
the AUDIO IN connectors @. The level for the channels R (CH-1) and L (CH-2) can be
set independently.
LOW:
—60 dB (for microphone input)
HIGH:
+4 dB (for line input)
Select the termination for the incoming signals when the selectors are set to HIGH.
ON:
600 ohms
OFF:
10 kilohms

EXT TBC (external time base corrector) switch
Selects an external time base corrector when a BKU-901
plug-in time base corrector
(optional) is not installed.
ON:
Set to this position to use with a stand-alone time base corrector.
OFF:
Normally, set to this position if a time base corrector is not used.
e When this selector is set to ON and a BKU-901
is installed, the BKU-901 will be
used instead of the externally connected time base corrector.

FRAMING
SERVO switch
ON:
Normally set to this position. The framing servo-mechanism will be activated
when a signal is supplied to the VIDEO IN connector @ or to the REF VIDEO IN
connector @.
OFF:
When
using a prerecorded tape whose recorded signal was not framing servo-
controlled, the edited picture may
break up at the edited point. Should
this happen,
set this switch to OFF and the FRAMING
lamp located on the control panel goes
out.
