Editing
1 Press the RECORDER/DATA button.
The RECORDER
lamp lights up.

Determine the edit mode.
For assemble editing
Press the ASSEMBLE
button.
The ASSEMBLE
lamp lights up.
For insert editing
Press the desired INSERT button(s): VIDEO, AUDIO CH-1 or AUDIO CH-2.
The lamp(s) of the pressed button(s) lights up.

Press the PLAY
button on the recorder.
Playback starts.

At the starting point of the edit, press the EDIT and
PLAY
buttons on the recorder
at the same time. This cuts in the edit. (The player must be in the playback mode.)

At the ending
point of the edit, press the PLAY
button on the recorder. This cuts
out the edit. However, the tape still travels and the mode
is still in the playback.
To stop the tape, press the STOP button.
e To have an edit as stable as possible, start playing back for editing at least five
seconds ahead of the edit-IN point.
e Do not start editing from the stop mode or do not stop editing with the STOP
button. Otherwise, the edited picture will be broken up.
e If a KSP or KSP-S cassette is used for editing, be sure to play it back before editing.
If not, the tape format detector will not detect its format and the edit-recording will
possibly be made with the improper format.
