Normally, set to OFF. Set to ON to superimpose the title characters or the time code
when the unit is in the dial menu operation mode.
INT TBC (plug-in time base corrector) selector
This selector is activated when a BKU-901 time base corrector (optional) is installed in
the BVU-950.
BYPASS:
This will by-pass the time base corrector.
ON:
Signals are always time base corrected.
AUTO:
Signals except those in the record, E-E and edit modes are time base
corrected.
Be sure to supply a reference signal to the REF VIDEO IN connector located on the
connector panel when a BKU-9071 is installed.
DOLBY NR (Dolby noise reduction) switch
Use this switch for audio recording.
ON:
with the Dolby NR system
OFF:
without the Dolby NR system
When playing back, this is controlled automatically so it need not be set.
REMOTE-1
(9-P)/REMOTE-2 (24-P) selector
Selects another VTR or another compatible unit to be connected to the REMOTE-1
or
-2 connector.
REMOTE-1:
Another compatible unit connected to the REMOTE-1
connector (9-pin)
located on the connector panel is selected.
REMOTE-2:
Equipment connected to the REMOTE-2 connector (24-pin) located on the
connector panel is selected.
