Preview the edit.
Start editing.
Use this function to perform the edit-recording rehearsal. If this is not necessary, skip
to "Start editing".
Press the PREVIEW button.
The PREVIEW lamp lights up and the tape portion between the IN and OUT points
will be played back. The picture in the E-E mode can be monitored on the monitor
connected to the recorder.
If necessary, move the edit point entered, and perform the preview again.

To stop the preview
Press the STOP button and stop the tape.
Press the PREROLL button to rewind the tape to the preroll start point.
To start editing from the preview mode
Press the AUTO EDIT button. The tape is rewound to the preroll start point and then
editing begins.
Press the AUTO EDIT button. Editing begins.
The tape portion, from five seconds ahead of the IN point to two seconds behind the
OUT
point, can be observed on the monitor connected
to the recorder.
e Record a CTL signal before performing an insert editing when you use a blank
cassette tape. In the insert edit mode, if the CTL signal is missing on a portion of
the tape used on the recorder, the picture on the monitor switches to the playback
signal on the recorder instead, and this portion will not be edited.
To complete the editing ahead of the entered OUT point
If you want to end the editing ahead of the OUT point already entered, press the
ENTRY and OUT buttons at the same time.
This re-enters the OUT point and the editing will be completed.
