reproduced by the recorder in the same manner as it is when editing. Use the monitor
connected to the recorder to check the edit. When the review is finished, the tape
returns to the OUT
point, then stops.
To stop review
Press the STOP button.
With completion of editing for one scene, search for the next points. Perform the
editing in the same manner as described before. *
To change the preroll time duration
The duration for the preroll is factory-preset to five seconds, but this can be changed
if necessary.
See "DIAL MENU
OPERATION" and the maintenance manual to change.
To change the duration, do not set the duration longer than the period between the
beginning of the recorded portion of the tape and the IN point. While the tape is
running from the preroll start point to the first IN point, the time code or CTL signal
must be reproduced for editing.
The preroll time for the automatic editing is selected with the recorder.
To quickly locate an IN or OUT point (Cue up)
First, press the PLAYER or RECORDER
button. Then, press the PREROLL button and
the IN or OUT button at the same time.
When
the IN button is pressed, the tape travels to the IN point, and when
the OUT
button is pressed, to the OUT point. Then it stops.
* It is not necessary to enter an IN point on the recorder
to proceed with the next editing. See '""Continuous
Editing' for details.
