Operation
To stop recording
To start recording, proceed as follows:

Insert a cassette.

Press the REC and
PLAY
buttons at the same time.
Recording starts and both the REC and PLAY buttons light up.
When the servo-mechanisms are locked in, the SERVO
lamp will also light up.

e It takes a few seconds
for the drum
and capstan
servo-mechanisms
to lock in, so
the picture recorded during this time may be broken up during playback.
Recording the time code
Press the STOP button.
Recording ends and the STOP button lights up.*
Use a BKU-905 time code generator/reader (optional) to record the time code.
No level adjustment is necessary as the level of the time code is automatically limited
for recording.
While recording of the time code, the TIME CODE lamp lights.
* When the tape reaches the end, it is rewound to the
beginning and then stops.
