38) EJECT button
When this button is pressed, the tape is unthreaded and, in a few seconds, the
cassette is ejected. Remove the cassette when the BVU-950 is not in use. This also
resets the CTL counting time displayed on the time counter display @.
OUT (edit-OUT point entry) button
Press this button and the ENTRY button @ at the same time to enter an edit-OUT
point. When an OUT point has already been entered, press to display it on the time
counter display @.
IN (edit-IN point entry) button
Press this button and the ENTRY button @ at the same time to enter an edit-IN point.
When an IN point has already been entered, press to display it on the time counter
display @®.
ENTRY button
While pressing this button, press the OUT button € to enter an OUT point or press
the IN button @ to enter an IN point.
The corresponding lamp lights indicating the OUT or IN point entry.
REVIEW button
After completing an edit operation, press this button to review.
The edit can be monitored on the monitor connected to the recorder.
AUTO EDIT button
After entering the edit points, press this button to start editing automatically. If an
edit-IN point has not yet been entered, the point where this button is pressed will be
used as the edit-IN point, and the BVU-950 automatically will start editing.
PREVIEW button
Press this button after entering edit points to perform an edit-recording rehearsal. That
is, press to view a quasi-edit before performing the real editing. In this case, the real
edit will not start but the tapes will start running in the same manner as in the actual
edit-recording. The picture can be monitored on the monitor connected to the recorder
although the edit is not actually being recorded. If an IN point has not yet been
entered, the point where this button is pressed will be entered as the IN point and the
preview will be performed.
