18. EXTERNAL MECHANICAL SENSOR
CALIBRATION (IF INSTALLED)
This programme is used to calibrate the width sensor. It must be performed when the machine
requests it by displaying the E4 message, or when the measured and the actual rim widths differ.
Proceed as follows to recall this programme:
- Mount the template supplied with the machine (A, fig. 23) on the balancing machine using the
fixing ring.

2. Bring the automatic probe to the rest po-

perpendicular position as shown in figure 27.
