K-­‐MOD   R EV:  
The   modular   revision   knee   arthroprosthesis   K-­‐MOD   REV   consists   of   several   elements   such   as   the   femoral  
component,  the  tibial  tray,  the  meniscal  insert,  the  locking  screw  for  fixed  bearing,  the  patellar  component  
and   the   diaphyseal   femoral   and   tibial   stems.   The   diaphyseal   stem   must   be   assembled   to   the   tibial   and  
femoral   components   directly   or   via   offset   adapters,   with   relative   locking   headless   screw.   The  
arthroprosthesis   K -­‐MOD   R EV   i s   a vailable   i n   d ifferent   p rosthetic   d esign,   a ll   f ixed   b earing:

Some   filling   tibial   and   femoral   thicknesses   (wedge)   are   also   available   with   relative   locking   screws.   The  
femoral  component  and  the  tibial  tray  are  only  available  in  cemented  version  and  diaphyseal  stems  only  in  
cementless   v ersion.   E ach   o f   t hese   3   m odels   i s   a lso   r ealized   i n   a n   a nallergic   v ersion   w hich   i s   c haracterized   b y  
a  TiNbN  coating,  for  cemented  application.  Such  coating  makes  the  components  manufactured  in  CoCrMo  
anallergic,   w hile   t he   c omponents   m anufactured   i n   T i6Al4V   a re   a lready   a nallergic   e ven   w ithout   t he   c oating.      
 
MATERIALS  
The   materials   used   to   manufacture   Gruppo   Bioimpianti's   products   are   according   to   the   International  
Standards   w hich   g uarantee,   n owadays,   t he   b est   B iocompatibility   l evels   (
process  of  our  products  is  completed  by  a  series  of  controls  which  are  conforming  to  the  normatives  (ISO  
9001,   I SO   1 3485).
