Lubricate annually or every 500 hours
Transport wheel roller clutches
1.
Place the machine on its kick stand and
remove the wheels.
2.
Remove the self locking nut, collar and thrust
washer from the landroll shaft.
3.
Make sure the brakes are 'off'.
4.
Withdraw wheel hub.
5.
Lubricate the roller clutch with Shell Retinax 'A'.
6.
Reassemble in reverse order.
Cutting cylinder drive clutch
1.
Remove side cover
2.
Remove Cutting cylinder drive belt.
3.
Remove screw, s.l.washer and clamp washer
from clutch pulley shaft. Withdraw clutch
pulley to expose mechanism.
4.
Lubricate the area of the shaft where the slider
operates using Rocol J166 anti-seize paste.
5.
Reassemble in reverse order.
Cutting cylinder spring loaded jockey adjuster
1.
Remove side cover.
2.
Remove cutting cylinder drive belt.
3.
Remove the self lock nut and disc spring from
stud and remove self lock nut and disc spring
from screw. Slid jockey pulley and levers off
pivot pin.
4.
Clean mating surfaces.
5.
Apply Rocol J166 anti-seize grease to pivot
sleeve, jockey levers, flat contacting surfaces
and disc springs.
6.
Reassemble jockey roller and levers to pivot.
Assemble disc springs and self locking nuts to
stud and screw.
7.
Tighten the nuts to compress disc springs,
'back off' by one flat, or so spring gives tension
action against reel drive belt
